2 weeks ago I had a chance to take promo photos for Five Minutes For Myself. Before the shoot we had a little discussion about what kind of photos they would like to have and we came up with an idea about these 30s or 60s inspired photos. I got inspired by Mad Men (which is awesome show btw!), film noir, Goodfellas, old smoky jazz club etc.
I’m honored that FMFM asked me to take their photos and really happy how the photos turned out!
Some time ago we did cd cover for Five Minutes For Myself with my fellow Mikko form Dustydays. We also did three blog posts about it on Dustydays.net. Here´s all three posts:
My friends has this band called Five Minutes For Myself and they had a gig at Club Liberté in Helsinki. They had a couple other gigs earlier and that time I was too lazy to take a camera with me and shoot some photos and it was a big mistake. So this time I was not going to do the same mistake…and at the end of the night I had taken roughly 1500 photos.
I know it was a bit extravagant to take 1500 photos and boy how long it took to import all photos to Aperture. Here’s some photos from that night: http://kalleoksa.fi/FMFM@Liberte/
I shot a lots of continuous shooting and had an idea of making a little movie from all of the photos so here it is.
Here’s some specs:
Camera: 7D
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
ISO: 1600
Aperture: 1.4
